Curved legs as varus or Bandiness is a deformity of the legs they
abnormally curved outward.This state can sometime be a sign of
aninherent disease such as ricket or Blount disease.

Symptoms may include:
- Bowlegs even after four years.
- Bending legs on both sides of the body.
It is easy to know if you have it, do not touch your knees when you stand with your feet and ankles together.
Bow Legged Causes
This state can be observed in both knees or a knee. If it is only seen in a knee, the cause may be:
- Infections such as osteomyelitis etc.
- Because of the anomalies of the tibial epiphysis growth higher.
- Trauma near the growth epiphysis femur.
- Tumours which the lower end of the upper end of the femur and tibia.
If we observe in both knees the cause may be physiological or pathological.
Physiological:

- Treatment of diseases or conditions that lead to bowed legs.
- Braces.
- Special exercise techniques.
